Change Everything by Focusing on Personal Growth and Faith | By Coach Ivy
Have you felt stuck in life or business? Christian life coaching can help you overcome fear. Furthermore, it helps you to walk with confidence into the life God designed for you. Even so, have you ever felt like you were meant for more? The struggle with fear is real. And it can be peppered with procrastination and burnout. It can be overwhelming when starting a new business. Or a new relationship? Although this may be true, you are not the only one. Common Internet searches continue to be a motivation and a source of growth. The truth is, you cannot soar while keeping your feet on the ground. In addition, growth requires great faith. Part of the human condition is continued progress. However, fear is not what God created you to be full of. Your life, dreams, and your voice matter. The truth is, God did not create you to be filled with anxiety. In this blog, we will review several thoughts on your purpose in life.
Many Feel Stuck
Our lives are busy, fast-paced, and can feel hectic. Examples include financial uncertainty, political unrest, and fear of the unknown. As a society, we can feel disconnected behind our screens. Not only that, note that most searched solutions continue to be about procrastination and self-doubt. “How do I achieve personal growth?” Or “how can Christian coaching help my personal growth? “People continue to search for direction and clarity. It seems like we have lost our sense of peace. Despite this, we must adopt proactive strategies. A great place to start would be better rest, mindfulness, and self-care.
Action Step: Join a church or life group.
Faith and mindset
Building strong relationships is a powerful way to reframe your mindset. As a result, negative thinking breeds hesitation and fear. However, faith-filled hope breeds courage. To illustrate this, let’s look at the book of Proverbs 23: 7 “For as he thinks in his heart, so is he. “Eat and drink!” he says to you, but his heart is not with you…” Daily thoughts affect how we approach life. If you constantly believe “I’m not good enough.” Or “nobody believes in me.” Fear will keep you from accomplishing your goals. We must always replace fear with faith. When we do this, it opens new horizons. Moving forward, we must start trusting God. He is the one who created you. The Bible tells us that he knows how many hairs we have on our heads. In fact, it tells us that He knit us in our mother’s womb.
Action Steps: Read “The Battlefield of the Mind” by Joyce Meyer
Life is full of chances
We are not meant to know everything. Part of feeling fully alive is taking chances. Growth does not happen when we stand still. It happens when we start to move forward. Leadership can be intimidating. However, it can also be exhilarating. Comfort zones keep us locked in. We were designed to take faithful steps towards our Father God. Just because life is filled with uncertainty, we should not give up. We must always choose faith over fear. You don’t need to have all the answers. You simply need to move forward and believe you can do it. Otherwise, there’s no chance for growth or opportunity. If you have children who are watching, you freeze up at every turn. That can be very scary for a young child. We should busy ourselves modeling what we would like to see for the next generation. Instead of saying I feel fearful. Even so, consider the possibility that you may simply feel excited.
Action Step: Invite a friend for coffee to get some feedback.
Christian coaching is exciting
This type of coaching gives us an opportunity to walk in faith. Cowering in fear is no way to live. In addition, it leaves us anxious and secure. The Bible tells us to count our blessings. God designed us for fellowship, which helps us bounce ideas off each other. Coaching provides action steps towards our goals. It provides an accountability partner, support, and clarity. Lessening our time on social media is a great way to get started. Comparing ourselves physically or mentally is a waste of time. With coaching, you learned how to participate in life. As a result, you learn how to set this as an action to move forward with wisdom.
Action Steps: Memorize a few uplifting verses in the book of Psalms.
Positive Self-talk
We often unknowingly rehash negative talk. Where we agree with the negative things that were said about us. This is why reading the Bible is so important. God continually tells us what he designed us to be. Ask family or friends what they admire about you. Then, when you’re alone, revisit those thoughts. Counter every negative thought by saying aloud, “It’s going to be great!” We may not know what the future will bring. But we can speak into the future. Even so, don’t miss the opportunity to be completely motivating! Replace negative thoughts with truth. “God created me with purpose!” or “challenges do not define me!” Play an active role in encouraging yourself. Don’t wait for someone to encourage you.
Action Steps: Spend time with positive people.
Pursue purpose
We greatly desire success yet still feel empty. Will look for what is meaningful to you. It is especially rewarding to help others. Find volunteer work that excites you. In addition, volunteering will help your community. Helping others inspires faith in humanity. It’s never too late to start. Volunteering reduces stress and increases positivity in the period. It offers a great opportunity to enhance your social skills. And build a tribe that believes in you. As a result, it lowers stress and keeps you active. Surround yourself with people who have similar values. It keeps you teachable and enhances your skill set. This can also aid in your professional career path.
Action Steps: Volunteer at food drives, churches, and donation centers.
Created for more
Rebuild your mindset by improving your confidence. Surround yourself with people who enjoy progress. Continually upgrade your goals. In addition, see every season as an opportunity for breakthroughs. Continually grow spiritually and professionally. Start working on the future that you have been praying for. Remember that past disappointments do not define you. See this season as an opportunity for growth. Start pursuing the business and the life you’ve always wanted. The book of Philippians 4:13 tells us, “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” This tells us that believing in Christ is our strength. In other words, as long as we are actively serving him, He will help us succeed. So don’t focus on the negativity. And surround yourself with uplifting people. People who speak life over you.
Action Steps: Call someone you have been thinking about.
Final thoughts
Growth can start with a simple prayer. It’s an opportunity for an act of courage. Never allow self-doubt to stop you. Consistently act and move. Surround yourself with positive-minded people. Work with a like-minded coach. You were created with giftings. The best time to start is now. Therefore, move forward in faith and joy. Never miss an opportunity to help someone. Remember that God gave you this day as a gift. You did not earn or deserve it. Reach out and pursue the purpose God put inside of you. Pray boldly and believe you will receive what you ask for.
