What is my purpose?
As a Coach, I am often asked this question. It’s really one of the most common questions people struggle with. Uncertainty makes business and life unfulfilling. As a result, too many options can be confusing. Or sometimes it’s simply a lack of confidence. However, being fine one minute and then immersed in negative thoughts the next. “Am I good enough?” Or “I feel like a fake.” A Coach will easily address these exhausting negative thoughts. Therefore, we need to refocus on our path to success. However, this isn’t easy when we do it alone. In addition, doom scrolling can only make things more confusing. An experienced Christian business and life coach can help you clarify your future goals. Ecclesiastes 3:1 of the NKJV Bible tells us, “To everything there is a season, a time for every purpose under heaven.” Biblically aligned decisions reduce fear and uncertainty. Biblical Confidence
Another major struggle is with identity. This world is very loud with ideas of who we are supposed to be. If you don’t know Who’s you are, you will never know who you are. By “Who’s” I mean God. Silent mental battles must be stopped and questioned. I often ask my clients these pivotal questions. “Wouldn’t you like to have a friend like you?” Most will say yes. However, some might say they are not sure. This is when I ask, “Would you trust them with your dreams?” or “Would you trust them with your life?” Most doubters will answer with a resounding “Yes!” The NKJV Bible in Philippians 3:20 explains our identity this way: “But our citizenship is in heaven—and we also eagerly await a Savior from there, the Lord Jesus Christ.” This stops us from wasting time questioning the obvious. Remember, your identity is not your mistakes. It’s not others’ opinions. Therefore, our identity is in what God says we are. Aligning our thoughts with the truth increases contentment. In addition, fear dissipates. This energizes us to move towards our goals.

Boundaries and Wisdom
Relationships bring many challenges. Whether it’s marriage, courting, or friendships. We must establish clear boundaries. These should not be punishments. They are guard rails protecting our peace. As a result, boundaries help us navigate through life without drama. However, we need to communicate effectively what we won’t tolerate. The Bible offers many stories of wisdom. Especially the book of Proverbs in the NKJV. The versus helps the reader enjoy clarity. In addition, setting healthy God-honoring boundaries is crucial. If we don’t, frustration and repeated negativity will continue. An experienced Christian business and life coach can help you create action steps. These will alleviate tension and bring clarity. Strong, healthy relationships are cultivated. They don’t just happen. You must plan accordingly. Both parties must communicate what is acceptable. Clear communication establishes trust. This is important in our professional and personal lives. Wisdom and boundaries go hand in hand in relationships. This strengthens healthy bonds that can last a lifetime.

Overwhelm and Anxiety
Doom scrolling is a contributing factor to overwhelm and anxiety. It is an unnecessary self-imposed misery. According to Doomscrolling Statistics (2026) “People who doomscroll for more than 2 hours daily report 2.5 times higher anxiety levels compared to those who limit news consumption to under 30 minutes…” Our need to know the future increases when we don’t have God in our lives. We were never designed to know the future. In addition, if we did, we would never be able to handle it. This is why our anxiety increases. We have a natural inclination towards worry. This can be because of past pain or unresolved trauma. Or just trying to do life on our own. God designed us for fellowship. Chronic loneliness affects our health negatively. According to the CDC’s article on “Social isolation and loneliness are widespread problems in the U.S., posing a serious threat to our mental and physical health.” It is clearly beneficial to be a part of a church. And always maintain healthy relationships. Having a community helps us deal with overwhelm and anxiety. Finally, even in uncertain times, having a friend can be very comforting.

A Faith-Aligned Business
You are in good company if you’re unsure where to begin with a new Business. Common struggles include finding a name. Or maybe it’s creating a brand. Identifying your niche and ideal client. Always be ready to tell your story in under a minute. People love supporting a faith-aligned business. As a result, you can identify as a faith-based business by incorporating a Bible verse on your business card. Or selling merchandise with Bible verses. However, please serve with a purpose. Be authentic with your clients; they can easily sniff out a fake. In addition to your website, add Christian music to your social media. Or do a voiceover to a beautiful meadow. It can be an explanation about who Jesus is. You can partner with a church. For example, if you have a coffee shop. You could welcome Bible studies. With time, people will remember your products or services. Their recommendations will bring future clients. It’s also good to have a mystery shopper. You can offer them a gift card to just come in and give you feedback. This can start a strong customer base built on trust. In addition, these businesses experience a better work-life balance.
